Canasta NR HD App Reviews

It has so many glitches and the scores shown on the screen are wrong. If you like to play with others it takes days if not weeks to finish one game. I didnt like it. I want to sit a finish a game. This is for opinions right? Haha the whole thing is outdated looks like it was created back when Atari was created. Just NO!!

I have been playing this game for quite some time with a couple of family and friends without any problems whatsoever. However, within the last couple of months the game has completely lost all game data, current games, and history. Managed to start over last time and start new games with the same groups of family and friends. This time, not only did I loose all data and history, I cant start games with my friends. Excruciatingly frustrating. Going for a new canasta app this time.

The developers need to respond to the feedback from multiple reviews by fixing the many frustrating bugs. The app freezes up and must be restarted almost every game. It also grossly mis-scores games frequently and has lots of other bugs.

Super excited to see this app. I encouraged several family members to download so we could play. Unfortunately, the game froze 2 out of 3 games. I saw the other reviews and hoped they had worked everything out. Not so much. Very disappointed!!

Trying to play this with my wife but its not working. Doesnt register the other players turn. Very buggy. Can I have my money back? Also when I play against the computer it sometimes doesnt end the had when I go out

Used to be a fun game, but recent upgrade and AI opponents dont even play at all. They dont ever meld anything. Whats the point of playing against something that doesnt play back

AI does not play, just draws and discards.

Two criticisms: Firstly,tagged under Hand and Foot Canasta--its NOT H&F! Secondly, AI doesnt play! Making he game pretty lame.

I so wanted to love this game so that my mother and I could play online with each other, but this game is awful. You cannot edit anything under the "i" where it has the options. It shows the two different options with buttons for both, but theyre greyed out. Cannot connect to an online game! So frustrating not to connect to a game when youre wanting to play. But even if you do connect, the AI is so stupid, a child could beat them. Theres no challenge whatsoever there. Until this app is seriously updated Ill be deleting it!

My wife and I are avid canasta players and this is the only version that supports multiplayer. However the frustration of this app makes playing a nightmare. Here are some of the bugs. 1. Games freeze for no reason at all. 2. The game reports " Network Down" often. 3. Allowed players to play incorrectly example .. deck is frozen with a two ... And later a card is thrown and the next player can pick it up with out having two in hand. The player had to take the card because it would not let them draw from the deck? 4. To restart I need to shut the game down and delicate the games from the worthless Game Center and then invite the player and start over.. 5. The scoring system is broken, the end of game recognition is broken (discarding a wild card should end the game when you have the rest of the requirements met), the canasta system doesnt recognize 7 cards correctly (related to the next problem), dragging cards to the field or back again (like when you accidentally grab a wild instead of a card, so you bring it back to your hand) doesnt correctly stack a canasta, and the card stacks are difficult to manipulate. Also occasionally it deals cards and then doesnt let you play. If the bugs were worked out, this might be a decent game. As is, it is no fun.

Ive had numerous issues but the icing on the cake is not able to play at all since updated to IOS 9.2. I have 5 turns but when I go to play game says canasta-nr lite not available for this device (both phone & iPad). Im playing & starting games on HD version yet immediately transfers games to lite version which Id have to buy, whats up with that when I already bought the Hd version. Emailed support and no response yet. Too bad I was addicted to game; now have to look for other options.

This is extremely frustrating when I have to email support and receive no response!

I switched back to canasta nr because canasta nr hd wont let me play on iphone

Worse than before, wont work with newest update. I have multiple games going and I cant play on any of them because it lists them under canasta lite. Please fix!

My sister and I have been playing for several months and we have found this game resets by itself and now the games we start are going into the lite version that we cant use on our Apple products! What gives with that???

My sister and I have been playing this Canasta for a couple months now. Generally it is a fun app. However occasionally the game gets confused and wont let you draw from the discard pile or let you go out. Ive never played with the Al so I dont know about the issues the other reviewers were writing about. Needs some exterminating to get rid of the bugs. But ok for a free game!

Completely unplayable with a game center friend.

Initially, this game was lots of fun. However, over the last several months they change the program and The game has changed dramatically. Instead of figuring out what caused the throwout the opponents find it easy to throw deuces out. In canasta that is not a proper defense. What I do to win these games his way to the very end before I lay down of any of my cards and then eventually they throw me the pack. Not happy with this is no competition
